Every website needs a host and a domain name. FORM & FUNCTION can provide either or both. We deliver simple, straight forward and fully featured hosting you can depend on, complete with email inboxes @yourdomain, cPanel and more for just $75 per year for your first site. If you don’t know what any of these things mean, don’t worry. We’ve got you covered ; )

There are three major components of having a website:

  1. The website itself, which is made up of code like CSS, HTML and PHP that ends up creating your design and content. In the case of WordPress and many other websites this also involves a database.
  2. Where that website files are stored, which is referred to as your “host.” Its job is to store your website files and serve them to browsers that try to load your website when they go to your (drum roll…)
  3. Domain name, which is essentially your website’s mailing address on the internet- it’s how browsers access your website, as opposed to any other. For instance, this domain of this website is fnfweb.com.
All of these things (domain registration, hosting and website design) are separate services that you can have three different companies do, or you can have them all under one roof for ease of management. A lot of people register their domain name through GoDaddy (please don’t), host with Media Temple and get their website made by their friend’s cousin. Alternately, you can make your life easier by registering your domain name, hosting your website and getting it built through FORM & FUNCTION.

You don’t have to register your domain name with us in order for us to build your website and/ or host on our servers, it’s just something we offer to provide comprehensive service to the clients who choose it. It essentially allows you to outsource the technical management of your website to a professional you know and trust, instead of having to deal with multiple big tech companies.

Straight Forward, Affordable Hosting

FORM & FUNCTION offers in-house hosting service to our clients for $75 a year for the first website, and $50 for every site thereafter. We provide all of the services any other host would, like email inboxes @your domain, cPanel, FTP, one-click-install scripts for WordPress, forums, galleries, other web software, and more. There isn’t a cap on bandwidth or storage space for personal or small business use — it’s just a straight forward hosting plan that gets the job done. A perfect option for those who want to let the professionals take care of the web-things, so they can focus on more important things.
